Short Track Model Railroad Club
Club Information,
Organization and Staff
The Short Track Railroad is an educational organization that
seeks to further the appreciation of railroad history in the
United States. Our model railroaders recreate the era when
the Super Chief, Daylight and Twentieth Century Limited ruled
the rails as the premier passenger trains of the nation. We tell
the story of the trains from the famed Jupiter steam engines of
the Old West up to the modern, high-tech diesels that are in
use today. Why don't you join us for an exciting journey into
the world of...N-Scale Model Railroading! Today the Short
Track Railroad consists of 30+ club members and over 40+
modules to choose for display. You are not required to own a
module to participate as a member. Many members are proud
to be NMRA members too. The railroad is displayed at many
shows through out the year. You can also visit our home
layout at the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum in
Vista, CA. (North Santa Fe Avenue) Stop by after 7:00 PM on
any Thursday or Saturday mornings after 9:00 AM. For
additional information please email the Short Track RR
Superintendent on the 'Contact Us' page.
